New Mural Downtown from Steph’s Waking Dream

Downtown has been gifted a new public mural!

From local artist, Steph’s Waking Dream, she had this to say on her social media page:

A contemporary view of “Our sacred mother -Tonatzin”. It is with great pleasure here I present you my gift to the downtown ABQ area. I offer my sincere gratitude to the man who floated this opportunity my way- @wemfer. I also want to thank those of you who continue to support ME and this creative journey of mine wherever it leads. I’ve been praying a lot more lately. Over the past year, I’ve been in one of the darkest seasons of my life. I’ve incurred so much loss and have hit some of the lowest lows. I am coming out of the deep darkness, remembering I’m protected, loved, and that I am at the cusp of a new beginning. So I pray- praying for a better world, for more shared love/experiences, vision, discernment, tenacity, courage, and JOY. Praying for understanding, for a higher purpose than that of my own perception. Praying for HEALING.
