Started (2022) and currently a work in progress, the Downtown Arts Collective is exploring ways to support local artists, performers and creatives in the Downtown community.

WHY: The Downtown Arts & Cultural District identified a need that more organized support is needed for artists and creatives in events/pop-ups, collaborative opportunities, business development, and networking.

WHAT THIS MEANS: awareness on processes for attending/creating community events, navigating participation and organization of events and pop-ups, connecting members to networks, resources, education and business development opportunities.

Vision Statement: Our vision is to provide opportunity, access and business development for artists of all media through connection, education and communication.

Our first stage of development has been surveying our Albuquerque arts community. Albuquerque artists were surveyed from April-May, 2022 with 148 responses. See the survey results by clicking the button below!
